Chabeland is operated by Chabeland LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. For purposes of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698), Chabeland LLC acts as the data controller ("veri sorumlusu") for personal data collected from users connecting from Turkey. Foreign data controllers serving Turkish residents may have additional obligations under KVKK, including potential VERBİS (Data Controllers' Registry) registration and appointing a local representative in Turkey.
Account information (name, email, address, phone), uploaded design files, and order/payment records needed to process your quotes and orders. Suppliers based in Turkey additionally provide IBAN, identity/tax number, and tax office information required for iyzico payouts.
Payments are processed by Stripe (customers and suppliers in the US) or iyzico (customers and suppliers in Turkey), depending on which country you're connecting from. Chabeland never stores your full card details or bank account credentials — Stripe and iyzico each handle that directly, per their own privacy policies.
Shipping labels and tracking are processed by EasyPost, which receives the shipping address needed to generate your label.
If you choose to sign in or register with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google to create or match your account. We never receive your Google password.
To automatically show the site in the right language and confirm you're connecting from a country we currently serve, we check your IP address's country using a local, offline lookup table and, as a fallback, Cloudflare or a third-party lookup service (freeipapi.com). This is not used for any purpose beyond language and eligibility.
Uploaded drawings are visible to suppliers while your order is open for bidding, and permanently to whichever supplier you select — never to unrelated suppliers.
Chabeland's servers and the third-party services listed above may be located outside the country you're connecting from. By using Chabeland, you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country other than your own, which may have different data protection laws.
We retain account and order records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for tax, accounting, and legal-dispute purposes. You can request deletion of your personal information at any time from Account Settings, subject to these legal retention requirements.
If you are connecting from Turkey (KVKK)
Under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, Law No. 6698), you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information about it, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction of your data, and object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis of your data solely through automated systems. If you are a California resident (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. Chabeland does not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@chabeland.com.

Regardless of where you connect from, you can access, update, or request deletion of your account information at any time from Account Settings, or by contacting us directly.
